When you’re facing a crisis, remember what Jesus said to His disciples in John 14:1, the night before His crucifixion: “Let not your heart be troubled.”

Imagine what it would have been like to be one of Jesus’ disciples at the end. They watched as He was arrested, beaten, and crucified. All of their hopes and dreams were rooted in Him, and now He was dead and seemingly defeated. The disciples were facing a crisis that none of us will ever endure, yet what did Jesus say? “Let not your heart be troubled.” That statement is the first step in Christian first aid. When a crisis comes, and it will, reach for the first-aid kit, and let not your heart be troubled.

Moon between Olympic rings makes for breathtaking London photographs (GALLERY)

(Reuters) A full moon made for a beautiful sixth Olympic ring on Friday night, when a Reuters photographer snapped a breathtaking picture of the moon positioned between a large set of Olympic rings hanging from the top of London's Tower Bridge. The shots were an instant hit on Twitter, with fans retweeting them thousands of times within an hour of posting. [ Photos: 20 inspiring moments in Olympic history ] Photographer Luke MacGregor also snapped photos with the moon positioned between one of the rings and hovering above and below the famed London span. (Reuters) (Reuters) (Reuters) (Reuters) The pictures provided an opportunity to crack a few jokes about the IOC and its stringent policies that prohibit illicit use of the rings.
